The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) recently published their 2012 State Energy Efficiency Scorecard. This report compares energy efficiency programs and policies across all 50 of the United States, and ranks the states according to several key indicators. These include Building Energy Codes, Appliance Efficiency Standards, Combined Heat & Power and State Government Incentives amongst others.
Montana's 2011 budgeting for electric energy efficiency programs was much higher than prior years, and gave it a large boost in it's overall score. Way to go Montana!
